About Wendy
Hello! My name is Wendy Welch, and I am thrilled to be a member of the LD Expert team! I am a National Board Certified Educator in Special Education and have been teaching reading for the past 27 years to middle and high school scholars. I am currently working full time as a Reading Interventionist at a STEM 6-12 in Boston, MA. I am certified in Wilson Just Words, Wilson Level I and II; as well as other reading programs such as Orton Gillingham. I am also a mindful outdoor guide and as an adolescent trauma informed yoga teacher. I am so excited to embark on this journey with your scholar and watch him/her change the world
