SMS Terms & Conditions

LD Expert sends text messages solely to deliver appointment reminders for scheduled therapy and tutoring sessions. These are transactional messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts. This page explains how our SMS program works, how you provide consent, and how to opt out.

Program Description

LD Expert sends SMS appointment reminders to the parents and guardians of our therapy and tutoring clients. Messages are transactional reminders about upcoming scheduled sessions only. We do not send marketing or promotional messages by SMS.

How You Opt In

Parents and guardians provide express consent to receive SMS appointment reminders during the intake/enrollment process and when scheduling a session. Consent is recorded by our staff using a dedicated “Send SMS reminders” option tied to the parent’s phone number; this option is off by default and is only enabled after the parent agrees.

Providing consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using any LD Expert service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive approximately one (1) message per scheduled session.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. LD Expert is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.

How to Opt Out or Get Help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a confirmation and you will no longer receive SMS appointment reminders.

For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@ldexpert.org. You may also ask our staff to disable SMS reminders for your account at any time.

Examples of the messages you may receive:

LD Expert reminder: Mark has Academic Tutoring (Math) today at 12:00 PM with Rhonda. The join link is in your email. Reply STOP to opt out.

LD Expert reminder: Your child’s session is scheduled for today at 3:00 PM. The join link is in your email. Reply STOP to opt out.

Privacy

We will not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
